Difference Between Power/Ground Wire

Okay, I have like 20ft. of 0/1g wire in my car but it's not actually hooked up to anything right now.. thing is, my wire has silver strands in it, so I'm guessing it's not copper.. now I just ordered 0/1g wire from Knukon and it's got copper strands..

if the original wiring I've got is any different from what I've got now will yall let me know? I see some people label 0/1 GROUND wire and 0/1 POWER wire but is there really a difference?

Kolossus Kable has a higher strand count than the eKo, therefore better. No difference in ground/power though.

Wire is wire...only thing that you really need to be concerned about is the strand count and cost.

Better as far as installation ease. Once you have it installed, there wouldn't be a difference between the two.

if anything i would have to disagree because the higher strand count makes its more of a ***** to get into tight spots etc.

The Kolossus kable is actually pretty easy to get into tight spots. I have the 1/0 gauge under the hood, and 4 gauge for my 4 channel amp.

As stated - power/ground wire are the same. You should use two different colors in your install though so you can tell which is + and - just by looking.

Kolossus Kable is just that - Oversized with a higher strand count. It uses tinned oxygen free copper. It competes directly with Stinger and PG

eKo Kable is more like the industry standard for wire gauge - it uses Oxygen Free Copper. The eKo line was introduced to compete with the lower priced knock offs that sell you 2 gauge wire in 1/0 jacket. This cable is aimed at AudioPipe and Streetwires and the generics found on ebay. We however give you full specs of our product, the same can not be said about the others.

Sorry to thread jack but the welding wire is just as good?
