is $270 shipped a good price for a mint one? what are your opinions and thoughts on the sub? comparable to anything?
this review written buy a guy who is deaf in one ear..........not comparable to a W7. they dont sound natural at all. they sound very mono tone. they are inefficient and cant handle heat at all. i went through a bunch of them. one actually lasted about four months, other than that, i felt that quality control from diamond left something to be desired.
power they like, they are very inefficient. and i play my music for 5 hours straight at full tilt almost everyday of the week. they are loud, but very mono tone, not musical at all. they dont like the heat though, especially when you lay on them hard for extended periods of time.who plays their subs for 5 hours at full tilt? anyways i've heard a single D9 12" ported and was very impressed, they do like the power though.
its the most musical sub I ever heard........ //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eyebrow.gif.fe2c18d8720fe8c7eaed347b21ea05a5.gifpower they like, they are very inefficient. and i play my music for 5 hours straight at full tilt almost everyday of the week. they are loud, but very mono tone, not musical at all. they dont like the heat though, especially when you lay on them hard for extended periods of time.
Inefficiency is not necessarily indicative of a poor driver. There are plenty of popular subs out there that require gobs of power to make the most of their potential and get the performance that they can inarguably provide.power they like, they are very inefficient. and i play my music for 5 hours straight at full tilt almost everyday of the week. they are loud, but very mono tone, not musical at all. they dont like the heat though, especially when you lay on them hard for extended periods of time.

User after user after user after user who has direct hands-on experience with the D9 or its older brother the TDX, amazingly have just the opposite opinion of said drivers than you seem to hold.
I find it rather odd that you and you alone are that lone voice in the wilderness claiming these horrific shortcomings. Why might that be? All the reviews from various publications as well as reports directly from end users claim that the D9 is one of the most solid SQL drivers they've ever experienced. Then there is you.....just you....telling us how awful it is.
When the deck is stacked so incredibly against you perhaps it's time to lay down your cards and walk away from the table, Bri.
Have a nice day.
