Well if that amplifier doesn't have onboard fuses and you tell him to fuse for his wire he could end up damaging the amplifier so maybe you shouldn't always take the easy route and just regurgitate information you've read on this board.

Is that the Scosche 5 gauge wiring kit? That's more like 8 gauge, I would do a 50a or so.

It's a Nakamichi PA-1002, I don't know whether it has built in fuses or not?

Well do you know what a fuse looks like? Do you see any of them attached to the amplifier anywhere? *facepalm*

Nope, there's no visible fuse like that.

Then your amplifier probably doesn't have it's own fuses built in, meaning the size of the fuse you put in the power wire matters a lot more now. Do you have the manual for the amp? It would have a recommended size.
