Hi, my name is squeak, and I'm addicted to Coustic DR equipment //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/veryhappy.gif.fec4fed33b4a1279cf10bdd45a039dae.gif

If these are from the guy on ECA, I can tell you my pair just got here Friday //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/up2something.gif.dd110ecf3ae4b76050d87598f2f8de7c.gif They are beefy little fvckers, that's for sure. Hopefully tommorrow I'll get a chance to play with them.....they are a slightly different size then what I have in there now (which are DR-306P's), so I have to make a new baffle.

BTW, the pair I got came with the original owners manual (with a copyright date of 1992 on it, if that tells you how old they probably are.....LOL), which lists box sizes and some FR charts. I can scan it for ya and post it up if you would like.

Hi Sqeak,

So your the guy that bought a pair. I had asked Eric if I could contact the purchaser for feedback.

Greatly appreciated if you could scan the manual for me. Post it or send it by email, doesn't really matter.

Let me know what your review of the DRs. I was thinking of putting them in the rear deck, with no enclosure. What do you think, don't bother? I'm hoping for punchy, tight bass or something close to it.

Look forward to your impressions.

Here's the manual: http://www.soundillusions.net/coppermine/albums/userpics/13848/Coustic%20DR-306%20Manual.pdf

It was raining and crappy out all day yesterday, so I didn't get to play with them yet //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif Though, going IB in your rear deck is a good plan. As you can see in the manual, that's actually one of the recommended ways to install them. Hopefully by mid-week I'll be able to tell you a little bit about what I think of them.

And, FWIW, Eric was a great guy to deal with. Fast responses to e-mail and he shipped the day I paid.
