I am looking into buying the 2004 JL AUDIO XR570-CSi 5x7 comps.

In comparison to the MB Quart Reference RCE268 comps, which would be more clear as they get into higher volume? I will be pushing my new comps with a RF 851x, so the louder I can get them, the better....

Here are the specs on each...

MB Quartz

» 6"x8" polypropylene woofer with rubber surround

» 3/4" titanium dome tweeter with composite surround

» composite ABS/fiberglass basket

» outboard 2-way crossover (4,200 Hz at 12 dB per octave) with 4-level tweeter output adjustment

» tweeter grilles included (no woofer grilles)

» frequency response 38-32,000 Hz

» power range 60-130 watts RMS

» sensitivity 86 dB

JL Audio

Nominal Woofer Size: 5" x 7" (125 x 180 mm) oval

Tweeter Size and Type: 1.0" (25 mm) Aluminum Dome

Continuous Power Handling: 85 W per channel

Recommended Amplifier Power: 40 W - 175 W RMS / ch.

Nominal System Impedance: 4 ohms

System Efficiency: 90.5 dB @ 1W / 1m

System Frequency Response: 48 Hz - 25 kHz ± 3 dB

Will the JL's get a hell of a lot louder just looking at the specs?

I can get them both for the same price..... which should I go for?
