it's a solo x 12 on 2800w, he wants to burp in the 150's, i honestly don't see how you couldn't burp in the 150's with that.

He's got 4.5 cubes tuned to 33hz with a 6" aero

this is 4.5 cubes tuned to 34hz with three 4" ports, so it has about 25% more port area than the other box, not a guarantee that it's gonna make it louder, but theoretically, it should.

17" exactly gives it about 34.5hz tune

Not only that, but you have to think about how much more flare there is a well. There is probably 60% more flare, which would help a ton as well.

Having flares is almost like increasing the diameter of the port.

I just assumed that the flares were solely for reducing port noise, simply because no matter how much port you have, it's still a 4" tube, learn somthin everyday.

Port noise more comes from lack of port area, in my experience.
