Definition of Old School

not sure if this is "old school" but its the oldest piece of audio i have... not sure the age, i would say roughly mid 90's, maybe earlier. got it from my neighbor.. he said, quote, "These were bangin' back in '92 ha ha" .

It's a heavy little sucker, probably take a good 400-500 clean watts.

I've siphoned off much of my oldschool stuff over the years....still have an old soundstream amp, an alpine 7914 (pictures below) and a fultron crossover as well. I also have a full din digital eq by alpine, but for the life of me I can never recall the model number.

Not to worry about power. Im working my way up to 4 2250's and 4 MT 15's. Then maybe i will set-up a huge plexi tank on my roof with 600 rats running in wheels to give me some extra boost.

I used to have a pair back when i really didnt know anything about audio. I cant remember what i ever did with them, they still may be sitting around somewhere.

RF PA-1HD Pre-Amp EQ from 89

RF XV-1 Active Electronic Crossover from 89

You mean you can take them apart and put them back together again? Thats awsome!!! Is that so you can bridge them together or something?

It's an insert that snaps (or does it screw? I forget...) into place. A spacer if you will. Doesn't aid in bridging, or anything electrical really, just makes for one seamless looking amp. Both Kicker and fusion had similar items.

HCCA series has them with the heatsink ext. as well

NICE! I missed you post but i run them as well. PA-1, OEQ-1, XV-1. I have a PA-2, OEQ-2, XV-2 setup as well but i busted my XV-2. Im trying to find another one haha but it can take some time.
