ok so lots of people have yellow top or deep cycle batteries. Its said its ideal for car audio because it charges in a shit load and its light. BUt also i heard that its not ideal for car audio because it takes way too long to recharge and it takes way to long to give out. opinions?

I have an optima yellow, and it does just fine. I can play my system for extened amounts of time with the car cut off If I want.

i use a pair of deep cycles, they work alot better than the pair of starting batteries i originally used.

OEM batteries such as Hawker, Rolls, Exide, Odyssey, Yuasa, etc, etc...a lot of them made for the backup-UPS and golf cart industries.

i use some duralast deep cycles form autozone.
