What the hell ya talkin' about?
12" Type E = rated 250W RMS
12" Comp = rated 150W RMS
Move up the scale, and it lands you at the 12" Type S (rated 300W RMS) and the CompVR (rated 400W RMS). No way in hell I'd push only 500W RMS between two of them.
