Look at what the company recommends. http://www.Kicker.com . I believe they have 3 different sized sealed box plans on thier website. The smaller the sealed box the lounder it's going to be. The larger the sealed box the more SQ you will get. If you can however I suggest you think about putting them in a ported box, but thats just my preferance.

As for the amp how many RMS watts is each one? Hifonics makes some good amps such as the 1000, 1500d, etc... Just get one that closley matches up with your max rms watts

Maybe he is tight on space..... for example, in my setup, it is physically impossible to port 2 10's.

Actualy box size depends upon wattage. With alot of power you want a smaller sealed box, with less power you would want a larger sealed box.

well sealed because of space, and because i'm not quite sure how to build a ported and ive built sealed before. they are 600watts rms.

well my current box is 18" high, 40" wide, and 18" deep and perfectly fits in my trunk by width and height, but i have much more room with the deepness but prefer to not use the whole trunk, and i plan on getting a pair of 12"s

yea but if i tune it wrong or make port wrong cant i ruin the subs? what amp would be best to run them? im looking to spend about $300-350 on an amp, more if necessary. is it worth a 150$ more to get the L7s?

yes, and Kicker KX12001 or JBL 1200

Have JMAC design you a box for i think its 8 bucks
