Decided on a Setup

Well I've decided on a setup I want to go with for my first system in my car. I didn't want to get anything extremely loud and outrageous so here's what I came up with.

HU- Kenwood KDC-MP438U

Sub- Pioneer TS-W307D2. I'm going to get someone to build a box for the sub. Should I go sealed or ported?

Amp- More than likely I'm going to with a Hifonics BXi 606

Now the only thing I'm thinking is that I want to get some new speakers for my front doors. I was going to get some components but I think I'm going to just try to change out my door speakers first and see how I like it. If I'm not satisfied then I'll get some components. The doors fit 6X8's if anyone has suggestions. And is it even worth trying to amp door speakers or should I just let them run off the HU?

If you're just going to run coaxials, then dont bother to amp them -for now, until you want more - that's my opinion.

Pioneer revs are good, relatively inexpensive. Other options are of course the RSD's.

Setup looks fine - other than the sub. I hate that sub. Port it though if you're going to get it.

Now I see that the ED kv.2's are on sale. Should I pick up one of those or just keep the Pioneer?

Get a sub you will want now and still want it and like it a year from now. Once you get your system up and running. You'll like it until you hear somebody elses. Then it starts getting expensive. I started with sony xplod coaxils ran off the HU. Now I've got hertz componets ran active getting almost 150w per side. Basically do some more research then decide what you want.
