Well, I ended up saving a ton of cash and went with a prebuilt laptop. The only reason being I love my current laptop and this was just an upgrade for under $600
Toshiba P105-S9312
Intel Core Duo Processor T2500E 2.0ghz
1024 MB RAM
120 GB Hard Drive 4200RPM
Nvidia GeForce Go 7900gs graphics card with 256 MB of dedicated RAM
Software Included: Windows XP Professional Edition, SP2
Adobe CS2 which includes: Adobe Designer 7.0, Adobe GoLive CS2, Illustrator CS2, Image Ready CS2, InDesign CS2, Photoshop CS2, and Acrobat 7 Professional
Microsoft Office 2002 which includes: Excel, Access, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
Now the processor may be a core duo and not a core 2 duo...but when you compare the 1.66 I have now and the 2.0 that one has its still faster and works better with overclocking.
The hard drive will be replaced with a 7200rpm 100 Gb seagate drive.
The ram is cheap, so Ill just put 2gb or so in there.
