Decent deal?

any recommendations on 1k amps? the woofers seem more personal preference.
my soundqubed 1200 lol its $269 new

the hifonics are budget friendly but for what you buy a new 1200 i can sell you my 1200 which is in mint condition.

Amplifiers - SSA STORE

take a look at that store you might see something you like all good reliable amplifiers.

hifonics is bottom of the barrel

nice choice but you can honestly get an 18" you have the space and the added cone area will be a noticeable difference in output.

honestly the sounded 1200 is a greatt choice. for the money its just about the best 1k amp you can get. everything else goes up in price. if you can afford better sure a sundown svc1500 or sae1000 are nice but like i said up in price.

the higher the RMS rating, the more power you will need to run. Even good amps wont do the rated power because of impedance rise. wired to 1 ohm you'll be rising up to around 2 ohms so if you wanna push 1250 watt sub, you'll want a 1.6-2k amp.
Can you stop saying that? The better sub will always be better on double rms or half of it. You are not stressing the bigger sub so it will last longer. By your logic a kicker comp on 500 watts will outdo a SA on the same 500 watts. That's not going to happen.

by your logic an ssa zcon on 500 watts should louder than an SA on 600 watts. Not happening. barely tickles bro.

Have you ever tried it?
last week I installed a type R for a buddy and put it in my old SSA Zcon box and have it on a crappy kenwood that does 500 watts at 4 ohms. 3.25 cubic feet box tuned to 33hz optimal recommended design built off of SSA. Its way louder than the zcon at 4 ohms on my brx 2400 during my break in period. The zcon only came alive after dropping down to 1 ohm and i was not even getting close to full xmax. For loudness a fully fed sub is better then a tickled sub.

EVEN before that, I had put in a jl audio slash 250.1 with a JL 12W4 in a 1.5 cube sealed box for the guy, We put the type R in on the 250.1 and the W4 was louder than the type R and sounded a lot better. The type R sounded extremely muddy and weak in comparison.

idk XD im still trying to figure out what woofer to get XD
just get any D2 ohm woofer that isn't rated passed 1250 and my amp is golden for it. (for optimum performance that is) you can always turn the gain down and put out less power but you can't make more power than capable.

A 15? If it's anything like its Fi brothers 3.25 is choking it. As for my personal experience having a pair of 12s do a 143 at 36hz on 1000 watts I'm sticking to my opinion.
