debadged my car. Shadow left by letters. - What to use to remove shadow of letters?

I agree. Especially if it's black, it will probably oxidize quickly like a red car would. As far as rubbing compound, if you don't know what you're doing with it, it will take the paint off. I don't know what claybar is but you can give that or rubbing compound a shot. Then wax your car. I took the letters of my 97 camry and I plan on cutting out the raise surface where one of the stickers were on mine so I might end up in the body shop anyways:(

if you don't know what claybar is you are really missing out.

used claybar. it didn't take it all the way away. i'm going to have a detailer remove it or im going to try rubbing compound.
