Deadening Yo. Pictures!

Umm, I don't pay for food
Ok, I ordered 80 sqft of Damplifier (+ 20sq ft, for discount) to do my trunk lid, some of the trunk floor/walls, the rear deck and both front doors. I am looking for midbass improvement, and for the rattles to stop. I have already deadened the trunk (tonight). It took me about 3 1/2 hours of total work time to apply all the deadener, as my trunk has a lot of curves and I did it carefully (also my first time deadening).

I played my subwoofer and noticed A LOT of rattles have disapated from the trunk lid, but I have found some spots that are in need of some more deadening. I have used 5-6 sheets (10-12 sqft) of the Damplifier on the trunk lid alone, that is a single layer, double patched in some places.

Ok now onto some pics. There will be more as I progress. Hopefully I get it done by the end of the weekend //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

**Also, these pics were taken 3/4 of the way through doing the lid.

Sorry the pics ****. It is nighttime, and I didn't have the proper lighting. I will take pictures when the sun is up tomorrow, they will be great quality.

Also, those little holes in the trunk lid, should I cover them with damplifier? I pretty much worked around them. I figured they were to to dry in the inner part of the lid if there is any condensation.

You need to leave some of the smaller holes open to allow air to get in and out...

nice hows it sound. Did mine about a month ago and my lid sounds like a solid oak door when I knock on it now //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
