Any idea whats wrong with my MD41??

So the past like 3 weeks I wired up my comps to active but never really put it into active mode (kept it at 4sp + Sw instead of 3-way because I do not know how to tune active I was going to go to Tuans store and have someone help me but never had the time yet) and today it started to cut off and go into protect. I normally turn it up to like 75/80 and now when i turn it up past 60 itll go into protect. I set my gains and what not to 60w to each tweeter and each mid. It was working fine the past 2 weeks but now its not looking to good. The sub and sub amp works fine its just my components.

Headunit: Eclipse CD7000

Component amp: US Amps MD41

Components: Old School Boston Pro's

Anyone have any ideas? It'll go into protect and then when i turn it down itll work again.

I'm starting to think its a refurb because I bought it off a guy on ebay and the LED light on the MD41 doesnt match the LED on my MD2D. The MD41's light isn't as bright as the MD2's. Anyone have any ideas??

I hope so.. but anyways anyone else have any ideas? The only thing I can think of is a bad ground.. but I'm almost certain I put a good ground connection on it.
