I had two more small rectangles of deadener left from my pack:

* Before

* After, see on either side of the piece that was sticking out farther

GAIN - 151.5 dB

0.4 dB gain so far with a single bulk pack

So... I need to concentrate on the back I think. This is where my woofer fires, right at the ceiling in the back.

^^yeah...I hate doing doors. It sucks when you are doing it but it is well worth the outcome when you finish.

Yes, I lose 0.1 dB taking it off.

The loss in dee beez comes from the heat generated by Jake used in taking the pvc off. I call bs. Plastic does nothing.
