Deadener Install

I'm preparing to install a system/sound deadener in an '04 Nissan Maxima. I wanted to get experienced opinions regarding sound deadener and it's most effective install. My Maxima has 90,000 miles on it, so it's starting to make the traditional creaks and squeaks in and around the cabin that drive the average or more audiofreak mad. I'm about ready to make rid of each and every one of them, I've been advised on top of my own understanding that sound deadening material on top of double sided foam tape is the best way to accomplish this. All opinions on each and every aspect of this job are truly appreciated, I'm really looking to stock this interior or better as far as interior noise, and would like to know any and all tricks to the trade to success this way. Thanks very much guys...

Two things...

First, this is not necessarily an inquiry about merely deadening materials, but just a general "how to get the interior noises/creaks/squeeks/etc." to go away...we all have experienced and understand this, and have either just wanted them to go away, or have executed. I'm looking for any and all information on execution, I'm very interested and would be very appreciative.

Second, I don't see the Sticky on Deadening alone. I believe it's there, just not seeing it.

Thanks.

Squeaks and creaks are two surfaces rubbing against each other. Parts loosen over time. Make sure that everything that can be tightened down is tightened down. For other areas, gasketing with sheets of thin film, silicone caulk or similar will immobilize or isolate the two surfaces. This is effective for rattles as well.

Vibration damper will reduce the energy available to energize squeaks, creaks and rattles. As far as applying it directly over foam tape, not a good idea. The deadener needs to be in solid contact with the substrate. Have air in between renders it worthless.
