I Just bought a 2003 honda civic and i am wondering if you can make too many keys for it? with my friends VW jetta, he has too many keys made that the car no longer holds a charge in his battery up front. my battery in my car is not working properly either so i am wondering if the previous owner could have made too many keys?

it true. these cars are made with chips in them so that the brain can reconize the key. after so many things start going wrong.
