DD 9518g vs. 18" BTL fully loaded

This is where you need to think how you will be listening to it the most. I havent had a chance to meter my BTL but I bet it doesnt do too bad on the meter even tuned at 32hz. A lot of people tune around 35hz also. Its a little higher for the meter but still low enough for daily. Like I said before, its gonna come down to personal preference. I just didnt want a daily box tuned at 40hz. Have you had a chance to listen to a 9515 in a box at 40hz? you should try to hear a BTL and a 9515 and then decide.

i just bought a BTL in the classifieds. i know it sure as hell wont sound like my mag did (either of them), but i guess ill have to wait and see what it does sound like lol. i too always thought the BTL is the spl sub. but then i read some other stuff from nick saying otherwise. and i trust nick more than just a random 16 yr old kid who is regurgitating info, which makes it hard to form an opinion without using the driver yourself. i guess ill just have to wait and see lol

just needed to clarify that the kid comments are not intended at you. i reread my post and it sounds like it is, but just trust me on this one lol
