which one would be better for daily and the occasional comps? box for BTLs would be around 14 cubes at 35hz, and DD's would be around 15 @ 40 hz. jus looking at which one would bettr. i think resale value on the DD's would be bettr. thanks for all the opinions.

Daily and the occasional comp? Both of those subs are very comp oriented.

But then, I see you've owned an MT. Considering that, and the other subs you've owned, you should have a fairly good idea what to expect.

not trying to be insulting again, but is everyone going with the DD because its a boner around here, not like Fi isnt either. but i want true honest opinions and reasons. i cant really seem to find a lot of good, helpful information on either of these.

i like dd because ive heard what they can do, ive not heard a BTL... thus im recommending DD

i heard 2 9510's do 150's

2 3512's do high 140's

and 2 2512's do low 140's off only a sae-1000d

every setup were daily setup's tuned very low

I was looking at the xmax though and it's only at 13mm.

Does the 3rd magnet increase this?

with the hixm coil or whatever its called the xmax moves to 26mm, but i thought stillt he BTL was 16 stock.
