DD 2512 sealed?

Yea but woofer for woofer the DD's gunna kill my jbl all over. Plus i honestly believe my jbl wants a bigger box cuz my higher bass *****.

Wont i gain some for sure? I know im going from ported to sealed but i gaining cone area and twice the motor and better quality sub

Large excursion is king with a sealed box, if you're looking for clean output. For the price you'd pay for a 2512, you can get a nice woofer that'll work great in a sealed box and have ~30mm of xmax. I'd personally run a TC Sounds LMS-R or Fi Q with the high Qts option.

I personally wouldn't run a 2500 series sealed but have heard that they 1500's work well sealed...

You know what I'd do is look into 2 Dayton HO 10's and go ported

I see you have a Dodge single cab...you should have a lot of room in there. I actually have plans for a ported box for 4 10's that'll fit in a '03 single cab...should be very similar to yours. The box is 51" wide x 24" tall with 8" top and 13" bottom depth. The box is 4.25ft^3 with a 30hz tuning.

Im keep the rear tray in that comes with the 06-08 models or something. I previously had a 2cu box in there and it took up too much of my leg room. My current box is 1.4cu and its the perfect size. But like i said ill go up to 1.75

i have a 2510 sitting here blown in my room.the spiders separated from the former im blaming it on the sealed box solely because when i had it in a ported box for like 6 months it held up fine on 1500w but when i put it i a sealed box .65 net after displacements on 600w the spiders where gone in 2 weeks. i called up kyle at dd andd he blamed the problem on the box as well.

the 2500 series is great for bandpass and ported but sealed id rather a ssa icon output will prolly be about the same, sealed and dd dont normally go together. except the 500, and 1000 lines

excellent small box driver actually considering it for my next build price is the only downside but then again i didnt click the link i just assumed it was a solo classic 12

i really want to make it clear that im not dooping u cause im trying to trade with the same guy if u like i can email or text you pics of my 2510 to show u the spiders separated from the cone and were i tried to reglue them. which natually caused the former to rub on the pole which is why i tore it down in the first place

yep he is a great guy and shares the same first name as me . its kinda awkward Kyle talking to Kyle on the phone lol but he has help me many of times with everything from initial ordering to final setup and suggestions.

That is the solo classic 12, but there referbs on ebay for only 140shipped a pop. I saw other listing of them for like 270, i was also wondering if a type-r 12 would be better or worse in a small sealed box then the classic
