Just ordered the PAC LC-1. I don't like the DC knob, and a LOT of people really like this one.

Hope you like it. Not going to solve your problem, since you said this was happening even without the DC knob.

Yes I know it is not going to solve the problem, I just don't like the DC knob regardless.

Way too bright and I don't like the direction you have to turn it. I like clockwise being turned up.

Sounds like you need to get access to a dd1 I set my gains with track7 on decaf with lc1 about 60-70% up its about all the subs want and when I wanna jjam some pink floyd or something its all the way up never smelled a coil and I've beat on it for awhile

I just tried the DMM on AC voltage. Same deal, shuts down the amp. However with the sub playing I get a readout. I did not see where I am at as its early and my neighbors would kill me but I will do it later on in some random parking lot.

I don't understand why the amp goes into protect with the DMM attached. I really find that odd.

Nail polish will soften any LED.

I am just going to put electrical tape on it. That will REALLY soften it up.

I should have the LC1 later this week or Monday, so I don't care anyways.

no problem man, i got it all figured out. you ship it to dc to get it repaired, they can ship it to me, ill use it, ill send you your money back, you can use that money to buy your aq2200. everyone wins.

Wow, really? I mean I know there's been a bunch of scammers, but you're going to refund him simply because he is having trouble setting it? Did it show any signs of this when you had it? How do we know the amp is bad? I mean, props to you for being extremely generous for sure, but I think you are being just that, extremely generous.

well its not like he is keeping both. he is going to send it to dc, they are going to look at it, ship it back to me, then when i get it, ill refund him the money. no one is scammed, everyone is happy.

I just feel no one has been scammed now. No one is really blaming you, we are looking toward the user. Either way, nice to see this side of the coin instead of the scams that have been going on. i may just keep it and use it actually. that tc9 12 with fi audio softparts i tried selling for 100 shipped i thought had a torn spider was just a box issue. lol
