im gettin nothing off the rca cables...

but doest htat affect the voltage comin from the speaker leads?

the speaker will read 3.8 OHMS, or whatever they idle at, when you touch the leads to the speaker wire. You can also test your offset, calibrate, your DMM by touching the leads together while in ohms and add, or subtract, the resulting number to get more accurate ohm readings. My crappy one is off .3 ohms.

to test for amplified signal, read for AC volts.

Flakko hate to hijack but I'm having somewhat the same issue . I tried testing my RCA's a while back and go nothing but I still get some signal b/c my music still plays on the subs yet I have to turn my gains up very high to get close to what my actual output should be. I'mma test again as DJ man had stated earlier and see what i get.

its a Profile CA 400 everthing about the freakin amp is fine. The power strip is on, when i check the ohm load at the speaker terminals it reads 3.8 ohms, the only thing thats wrong with it is it has no output. i dont get anything when i DMM the speaker terms... whats wrong?
i would call Profile but ya know its saturday tomorrow

I got the Profile CA600 will 8 gauge power wire and 30 fuse be good enuff ? It's rated at 150 x 2.

hahaha i know...my dads car needed a little power and that was the cheapest i found. 60 bucks for 300w aint half bad
