i notice something today when i opened up my trunk and seen my newly bought alpine type r sub kinda of damaged is there anything out there that can fix this it still pounds very loud and hits very hard but i can see the damage and its driving me crazy any help will be appreciated thanks...

i think i will be selling these any thoughts on a new 12's subs i can buy for a reasonable price im looking at the sundown SD-2 12D4 - Sundown Audio 12" Dual 4-Ohm Subwoofer any thought on these...???

that's def not an issue with excursion that's where something impacted the surround during play, be careful doing that it can cause the VC to rub in the gap and short out after the epoxy coating is damaged.
