damage report (how bad did i **** up)

not into a jack into the amps reciever where you put the copper wire i put the power cable coming from the battery into the part of the amp meant to recieve radio signal from a 16 gauge and i fed it a live 8 gauge wire.

you mean the rem terminal? if so, that shouldnt hurt your amp or your hu. your sendin it the same power

Actually, the fuse in the amp, from the picture you showed, doesn't even looked like it's seated correctly. Push on it and see if it goes in more. Or check it first, whatever floats your boat.

And you should really be using a spade terminal to properly attach your power and ground wire to the amp.

UPDATE:all fuses in the deck and amp are good //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif. The deck is recieving power but the face isnt putting out audio or showing an image or responding to any controls so im putting in my other deck instead. At this point im probably going to have to drive 100 miles there and 100 miles back to get help from my cousin who is pro with sound systems who installed this in the first place. Ive gone as far as i can unfortunately //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif.

p.s i got a 800 amp battery and once i wire that in with my 600 amp battery (i have 2 battery mounts under my hood) ill have a 1400 amp power system as well as a dual fanbelt system so if i ever get my sound system fixed again this old 76 blazer is very well suited to power some serious bass which im looking forward to getting as driving without my subs is boring as ****.

yes the rem terminal. I know the deck is ****ed, it has power and is completely unresponsive

my dad pulled the fuse and put it back in. i went out and pushed down on it very firmly and it actually seated down a little more so i dont know if it was seated like that before but its all the way down now. nice call

Man this has given me a good laugh. It keeps people like me in a job but... there are 2 things that need to be said here. People like this should not be allowed to vote. People like this should not be allowed to procreate.

if you say so man but you want a reliable gas saver... mine is almost 20 years old with 200k+ miles i just drove 2500miles in the past 3 weeks with it i dont know how much more reliable you can get for the price... as for gas mileage i get 28mpg in city and 33+ on highway depending on how my foot feels //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/cool.gif.3bcaf8f141236c00f8044d07150e34f7.gif
