Cvx Or Type R 15

Type-r would be louder, IMO.
But there's really no way to determine that for sure without testing both woofers in YOUR install.
in my install the type R was louder . but either way in the right box both will be loud. i found that the cvx handled the power better (orion 2500d). Even so id go with the type R

maybe you guys should be on the Alpine Type R Team.

I agree. Sometimes in these situations it is better to not say anything at all.

It doesn't look very good for yourself or Team Kicker when you have Team Kicker all in your sig and you bash on a Kicker sub.

Nobody is aksing you to lie or give falso opinions, but when you've got a manufacturer backing you and you have nothing nice to say about one of their products, it is honestly better to say nothing at all.

Just my .02:D

I in no way purposely bashed kicker in any way, and I still don't think I did.

I would hate to not let people hear my side of the story because I am on team kicker, even though I have had experience with the CVX and the type-r.

I will take the advice of both you and tracy and not post anything that I feel is misrepresenting my sponsors.

IMHO, each car and every person will have different opinions. I also want to say, publically, that I, nor anyone else on the team expects our team to preach our brand is better than anything, because it's not. It's not the way I want to run a team, and being the leader of this team, I have to look out for what is best for us.

We are all lucky, to be given the God right to our own decisions, and opinions. I'm 110% backing on this.

but if you work for Ford, and drive a Chevy to work, plan on getting weird looks.

cvx heard a 12 personally with 600 watts in a single cab truck box and it hurt my ears on some songs.....my type r with twice the power and box size didnt hurt my ears like this but i guess you can blame it on cabin gain etc... I would choose CVX
