Cvx Or Type R 15

why do you say this? i want spl. i listen to rap 99% of the time. i heard mofos are louder than most in its class. i would consider the r and the cvx in its class because of price range.
because mofos are crap.........

in my install the type R was louder;) . but either way in the right box both will be loud. i found that the cvx handled the power better (orion 2500d). Even so id go with the type R

what makes the mofos crap. ive had (3) L7 setups and (1) L5 setup.

kicker is tried and true. i was looking for something a little different.

ive done a ton of research on the forum its like everyone has mixed reviews.

im going to think it over. i just have too much stuff laying around the house so

would feel uncomfortable spending alot on a fifteen.

ive narrowed it down to the cvx and mofo.

im going to buy something today so it can arrive around the time i get my box.

i just would like to get feedback from people who have had experience with these

two subs.

MOFO's are very inefficient and overbuilt. They don't take a lot of power very well, and they really aren't that loud. On top of that, they sound like complete ***.

The type-r or CVX will take as much (if not more) power as the MOFO, and sound a WHOLE lot better doing it. If you buy a MOFO, you'll regret it.

thats what im talking about. thanks for the input. very convincing. it makes alot of sense about it being overbuilt. im only working with a bd 1000. im going to check out the soundstream t-4, but i will most likely get the kicker or type r.

thanks guys
