Customizable Laptop Question

http://www.ncixus.com/

I've probably spent a solid $10,000+ in the last year buying components for myself and others (who paid me back + extra for services, obviously) from there and have never had an issue with them ... although, having just looked at their US website, they don't appear to offer the same barebones and custom-built services that they do in Canada ... Maybe try calling them (they're based in Vancouver, so be prepared for a heavy asian accent //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif )

i don't want it to be top of the line and i am willing to pay for it.
I'm just not going to pay for them to put it in if they charge me 500 dollars to put in 4gb when I can do it for less then 100.
So than buy a dell and don't get 4gb of ram get 1gb of ram and a shitty harddrive but get the processor and the video card you want and then swap out the ram and hd.

Why are you lacking common sense right now?

Dell XPS +http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820134549 +http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822145180= done thats hella easy, and just select a good dedicated graphics card available on all xps laptops and whamo!

lol, but you really should list price range your looking for

ram you've listed, so im assuming your using vista 64bit if you want 4gigs of ram..you've listed a 7200rpm drive but not a size capacity, along with screen size so icant really help you that much..

and ram and HDD install vid too:

My advice is to buy a relatively cheap one with a good processor and hard drive that you want. Get the lowest amount of RAM if you know how to install it, and then install however much you want yourself.

Not always true.

If Dell could build me a desktop with a 5200+, 2 gb ram, and 500 gb hdd (not to mention vc, sc, mobo, case, mouse, speakers, and monitor) for under 400 dollars, I would buy one. Otherwise, I'll build my own.

are you lacking common sense right now? the video card i want? you mean the only one they offer you? you get one choice besides the integrated memory. I don't really get to choose shit. I know vegas is a trashy town but you don't have to give me shit because you live in a slum.
