ive had very many issues in the past with my current car crapping out on me and have found a, 86 crx hatchback for 1800.

Runs ac works and has some custom interior/exterior work. (all blue) I know several of you on here have them for your spl setups and would like an opionion first.

The biggest problem I know of is that those engines are interference engines, where a broken timing belt can destroy the heads and valves.

Get a new timing belt asap and you should be good for another 60-100k miles.

The cool thing about it is that the CRX shares the Civic platform and there are literally TONS of parts available when it comes to the drivetrain, suspension, electrical, and brakes. The only downside is finding actual body pieces if you were to be involved in a minor fender bender.

For the price you paid and the age of the vehicle, maintenance is going to be needed.
havnt bought it yet, and its from a co-worker (kinda) works for different mcdonalds, hes a salary manager but im hourly... hes got 2 other vehicles, doesnt really need the money, i came to him about it and thats what he asked.

might take it out for a drive and drop it off at my mechanic and see what he thinks of it.
