Crunch - Solid amps made by Hifonics?

i know what peak and RMS power is. Over rating an amplifier shouldnt be "normal". Its highly misleading, stacked on top of the peak power rating. I know your a representative of some sort but still can you really answer my question without shrugging off the decievement? Unless of course these amps are rated at 14.4 volts or above. which i still dont like being posted instead of 12.4 ratings.

If you'll notice, most of the better brands are underrated, which makes comparisons difficult.

But regardless, I'm still a little skeptical about Crunch even doing what the manufacturer claims.

So is Crunch, Autotek, and HiFonics under the same design umbrella? The main differences would be the actual parts used to piece each amp together?

You say over rated but if you read the post i made above, there is an explanation that we provide RMS and max power points. The RMS power points are correct.
You guys only advertise the max rating for the Crunch PZi series. The RMS numbers can't be found anywhere. I'd love it if you could post the RMS ratings on those amps. Specifically the PZI 100.2.

I've checked the website, and I have the manual sitting in front of me right now and there is only the one rating.

Also, no matter what reasoning is behind overrating specs, I consider it an unethical practice.

crunch = much better than what you remember before maxxsonics owned them!
Really? I never owned a Pre-maxxsonics Crunch amp but I remember them as being pretty good. I've been known to be wrong though

Is my question going to be answered or does all the deleted posts mean you got owned by someone in your company? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/slap.gif.87520e8ca8e90076ac30e777c0de5331.gif

Why would you guys ask him for a birthsheet of an amp. Maxxsonics doesn't do birthsheet so why the hell would you ask for one? I think what you really want is a result of a bench test.
And what is wrong with asking a manufacturer to prove their products claimed specs in a realistic environment?

That's exactly what CEA2006 guidelines are trying to get manufacturers to do: represent their products to the consumer base in a truthful and respectful manner.

For all to see...This is why manufactures usually don't reply to posts on forums.

Some people feel that when they jump into one persons post, they can change the topic and feel they are owed some kind of response.

I think I have provided several replies and answers to many unrelated questions to the topic in this post but when someone gets rude, disrespectful and demanding, I no longer feel a need to assist them.

I'm sure you know more about these amplifiers then I do so please feel free to enlighten us all and provide some intelligent, well thought out, informative, and knowledable answers to the questions.

The floor is all yours.
Wow. Just wow.

I was never rude, my comment about you getting owned was a joke.

After all of your talk about giving out RMS numbers of your amps you now refuse such a simple request from a paying customer who constantly recommends your products to others. I'm asking because I'm curious to what my Crunch amp that I own is rated at.

You're comments to me were rude. Mine were in what I thought was obvious jest. You've just lost a customer for life.

Agreed. My amp came with a birthsheet or result of bench, which ever one wants to call it.............

WTF?

The guy is a VP of a major car audio manufacture.

He doesn't answer your question in 10 seconds so you tell him he got owned and then you show a symbol of him getting smacked in the head.

(no...don't say you were just kidding...maybe you were just showing off...sad..)

Are you 12 years old?

Couldn't wait for answer before you bust balls?

Couldn't just send a PM or e-mail to the company?

Some of us are actually here to seek answers and talk about products we have interest in and when a factory guy jumps in, they usually are the most informative.

Stop being a di*k and ruining it for the rest of us that actually want the factories to come and answer questions.

I actually sent him a PM and apologised for the crap he took.

He sent a nice reply.
