Crunch - Solid amps made by Hifonics?

What does everyone think of Crunch amps? Supposedly Hifonics makes them....

I buy alot of stuff off caraudiodeals.com, because they have fuses and such for really cheap. I was looking at the mono amps, and noticed you can get a 1500 watt x 1 RMS Crunch amp for like $140.

Are they good, or junk?

They are probably decent for the money, but the problem with them is that you have no idea how much power they actually put out.

They rate them as "musical power". The real RMS power of that amp is probably around 500-700 watts.

Maxxsonics makes Hifonics and Crunch.

I wouldnt buy it ....save your money and buy a more reputable brand.

Someone recently bench tested a Crunch amp rated at 1200 watts and got 1300 out of it at 1 ohm and I believe he was burping it at .25. Dont knock it till you tried it, it wont be great but for a decent system, it should suffice.
