I've let my sub slowly work in for about 2-2.5 weeks now with plenty of playing time.
I'm kind of unfamiliar what this setting does still lol. I pretty much want to know what should I set my x-over on my amp? My HU is a pioneer 6800ub and its set to 80hz for sub freq. i have other options for 50hz and 63hz aswell. i wish i could just turn it off and let the amp do the work. i also have a remote knob for crossover settings on the amp (dual knob with bass boost also). subsonic filter is off.
The sub is a DC LVL 4 15 and the amp is a rf t1000.1 the box is 3.25cuft tuned to 27hz.
I guess another question also is what would happen is the x-over was set too high on the amp and the hu? Just ****** sounding, or could damage with the sub occur with a low tuned box? thanks in advance.
