crossover building

ok people i am now EXTREMELY ANGRY at the instructions that my GENIUS of a friend in ohio gave me for building a simple 2-way crossover at 3500hz. i went and hooked it up and the fcker started smoking and then just stopped. so now i'm starting from the beginning, as though i never knew anything about 'em in the first place. where can i get a book or instructions or such on how to build home crossovers? any help is GREATLY appreciated!!

Lemans, Look for a document called "passive crossovers made easy"

If you can't find it, can you wait a week? When I go back to denver I can fax it to you. I don't have it electronically.
