crossover at 125 to high for sub?

how can i tell what my sub is crossovered at if there are no indicator marks or anything by the crossover knob on my amp?
The frequency doesn't matter, only the effect it has on the sound //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Honestly, don't worry about the specific frequency.

well ive got my sound setup which sounds good to me. just curious to know if theres a way i can find out using test tones or something. correct me if im wrong but if my LPF is set at 80 (24db/octave) does that mean 80hz test tones should be 0 db and 160hz should be -24 db??

Technically the crossover point is the point at which the signal is -3db down.
