Creepy Install on a V6 Eclipse...

Exactly,he's a young kid that thinks he know's it all so it couldn't be anything he did wrong!Instead of blaming it on the vehicle and the women he needs to take responsibilty and figure out what needs to be done. Not posting about "Creepy install on a V6 eclipse....!"

1) running a power wires threw a gromet -->i didnt even connect it to the battery

2)removing the seat has no AUDIO connection at all (and that the opposite of installing)

3) i DID NOT connect the inline converter.

4) i did connect the remote turn on wire (with out disconnecting the radio) to the factory Acc. wire.\

5) the only reason i HAD to deal with the customer is beaucse i worked a 12-10pm shift and the other installer worked 9am-4pm

she left at 4pm to go to the dealer to get the radio number( they would not give it to me over the phone for what ever reason)

she came back, and i entered the code they gave her and it did not work. i asked her why tey didnt do it and she said they wanted 30$ to do it.

w.e you guys were not there. its cool though because she called us today and she stated that nothing was our fault, SOME WIRES IN THE FUSE BOX WHERE ****ED UP

i tried asking her what happened exactly but she didnt know only the above statement

so Fcuk all of you because i was right, trust me it was Creepy and i can guarantee thats ANY OF YOU would have approached the install all the same way and the same out come would have happened.

and the other installer whom did 90% of the work and 98% of all the actual connections (all but remote turn on) has been doing this for 8 years.

Just because you have been doing something for a long time doesn't mean you're good at it //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif. I know several people who have been doing a specific task or job for years, yet they are still aren't good at it.

Even though she said "it wasn't your fault" it doesn't mean you aren't responsible for some of your actions and your attitude. Shouldn't you guys have been smart enough to test it out first to see if everything was working fine? If it wasn't doing it before and it started doing it after you guys did something, well that raises a red flag and means YOU guys did something to it.

And I guess you got some big balls now because you told some ca.com members "**** you". That really hurt my feelings, i'm just...in tears.....I still think you're a shitty installer and would never trust you to touch my car...and I know not to let you run a remote wire either.

BTW, just cos you don't understand something, doesn't mean it's "creepy."

So some messed up wires in the fuse box made the speakers bump every time you touched the door?
i guess so.

maybe the wires in the door that go to the :door lights: were going to the same spot on the fuse box. Idk how why or what.

and i never said i was the worlds greatest installer but my work 99% of the time is above average.

if you will, this was the first time i "messed up" which i didnt. but w.e

i wish i had some pics of other installs i had but wtf does that matter... like donpisto said i should be //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crying.gif.ec0ebefe590df0251476573bc49e46d8.gif right now right cuz some CA.com members are sayin im a crappy installer:wow: eh not really.

good day.

uhh... i'da just rejected the car if it were that messed up before the install.

Me and the other installer did not want to work on this car. we noticed all the body damage to the drive side and both figured that it was going to be a head ache.

but the manager insisted.

everythin was done by the book. its a basic install.

Though no expert this read like a bumfvck from the start.

The accident probably caused some serious shorts that were never repaired, properly?, because electrical problems are a ***** to diagnose/repair on cars.

Two individuals working on the car, BBY people, that are not communicating, based on the story and comments, and don't seem to know what the other is doing or if it is being done properly...last guy holding the wrench owns it all..."Man Law"...and gets all the blame/praise.

Some installers are paid to do what they are told. That doesn't necessarily mean "right/correct" but means "make money for the company".

I wouldn't ever bring my car to a BB or CC, etc. for car audio install work...but I can generally do it all myself when I have the time...12 hour shifts rarely leave the time //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif... But I am also very picky about who or what shop I would use for installs. I have seen some shoddy work and very careless...F U attitude...from some shops...they quickly go out of business but still leave a trail of screwed customers. Most people have no idea how to install a stereo or other gear and rely on shops of all kinds so it is the responsibility of a QUALITY SHOP OR BUSINESS to look out for their customers...it is good service and very good for business.

Also some customers are real boneheads and are either clueless or bad people...either way karma will get them in the end.

AlpinetypeR you were screwed from the moment you touched the car but you own some of it for what sounds like a bit of careless work.

You are a professional installer and you think a wire that goes to a door is possibly in the same circuit as a wire going to a subwoofer? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wow.gif.23d729408e9177caa2a0ed6a2ba6588e.gif
1) You agreed to work on the car.

2) You did not assess any damage to the system, and report it to your supervisor, before starting to dig into it.

3) You shrugged off a real problem, in the stereo, as 'mysterious' and went on your merry way.

4) You've done nothing but make excuses why you held zero responsibility for the situation, ever since.

5) Worst of all, you recognize not one single mistake you made in this situation.

Hey, we all screw up. IMO, and several other people here, you probably handled the situation badly. Guess what? Instead of making excuses here, you'd probably save alot more respect from people if you would have just said 'yeah my bad, I should have done more' and acted as if you learned from your mistake. Instead you walk around as if everyone else is responsible for your actions. Your boss should have known better than to accept the job. Your boss should have known the problems that came up were pre-existing, not your fault. The other installer should have talked to the customer, known what was going on, hooked up a better ground. The customer should have known better, in oh so many ways. Yep, everyone in that story was a royal fuck up, except you. You were perfect, right?

i guess so.
