Though no expert this read like a bumfvck from the start. The accident probably caused some serious shorts that were never repaired, properly?, because electrical problems are a ***** to diagnose/repair on cars. Two individuals working on the car, BBY people, that are not communicating, based on the story and comments, and don't seem to know what the other is doing or if it is being done properly...last guy holding the wrench owns it all..."Man Law"...and gets all the blame/praise. Some installers are paid to do what they are told. That doesn't necessarily mean "right/correct" but means "make money for the company". I wouldn't ever bring my car to a BB or CC, etc. for car audio install work...but I can generally do it all myself when I have the time...12 hour shifts rarely leave the time ... But I am also very picky about who or what shop I would use for installs. I have seen some shoddy work and very careless...F U attitude...from some shops...they quickly go out of business but still leave a trail of screwed customers. Most people have no idea how to install a stereo or other gear and rely on shops of all kinds so it is the responsibility of a QUALITY SHOP OR BUSINESS to look out for their customers...it is good service and very good for business. Also some customers are real boneheads and are either clueless or bad people...either way karma will get them in the end. AlpinetypeR you were screwed from the moment you touched the car but you own some of it for what sounds like a bit of careless work.
