Crack in speaker cone

Hay everyone pretty new to car audio, I just picked up two MTX Terminator 12's used about a month old. When I got home I realized on the outer part of the cone there is about a 1/2 to 1 inch crack. Is this going to affect my sound performance at all? should I try to repair it?

thanks a bunch

you should look at my subs, lol... they all look like sh it (minor imperfection, ect) but i got all 3 12" type r's for 110 shipped. 1 had a hole in the surround, used epoxy for that..1 had alittle peeling on the cone, painted that 1....and 1 had a gumball sized hole in the cone, pulled the cone meterial back up and super glued it....ghetto yes. but for 3 12' type r's for that prise i'll deal with it....they took 1800rms for 2 years and currently getting around 1500 w/ no problems.
