Just a follow up of first impressions if anybody else is looking and come accross this thread. Bought a refurbed cf1044 10" dvc. The sub was stiff at first but as it loosens up, I'm liking it better and better. It has a very rich and accurate sound from my tiny sealed box. The sound is flat, no peaks like so many subs I've used before. Seems geared towards SQ, not the loudest sub. But it was an absolute bargain at $50.
