2nd thread about buning smeel from subs

I am still trying to find out why my 2 l7 subs all of a sudden have a burning smell. Do anyone have any clues????

Cause either you're overpowering them, or sending them a clipped signal, sometimes new subs may smell a little when you give em some power due to excess glue burning off

Haha, I had an L5 and beat the hell out of it daily, sent it twice its rms and a clipped signal and it never died

Stunk all the time

When I had a 15" L7 that thing stank like no other.
