in general there is mostly bad information given here ..

Talk to a lawyer that knows what is up but in most areas the firearm is a misdeameanor,

and the drugs are felony

lawl.... nothing's going to happen on day 1 unless you walk in with an attorney.

The judge won't let you plead guilty even if you wanted to.

In my county, you would let the judge know you are hiring an attorney, you would sign the PD waiver, get a continuence, and your attorney would have to make the request at the clerk's office.

When all is said and done, you'll probably walk with probation, mandatory drops, and an outpatient rehab.

Get a good lawyer, have some bank ready, and see if you can get into a diversion program. It's a bunch of hoops to jump through and they end up keeping any felony off your record.

BTW, X possession is a felony in almost all states.

I got popped w/ a QP, scales, bags, pills, the whole nine yards. I was facing 7yrs. in prison. Since then i've got my shit straight, and i'll be back to living life with a clean record in August.

i just got off parole in february. did 5 years or so in prison, 5 years on parole and 1 year on isp inmate. distribution of marijuana, conspiracy to distribute a controlled substance, aggravated motor vehicle theft, and escape. sentenced to 7.5 department of corrections and a mandatory 5 years parole.

i see probation and a buttload of different classes for you. anger management, substance abuse, etc.

I was just clarifying for the guy that made it sound like it was in my pocket, just saying it was in the car not on me.
Im not AGAINST hiring a lawyer if it will keep me out of jail, i dont care about a record, just staying out of jail.

Either way it was in your car and thats considered to be in your possession. I would definately look into getting an attorney though based on what I have read here.

If it was your first charge or run in with the law, and you were 17, and had a small bag of weed, and maybe this little pellet gun, I would say dont worry about the attorney. But seeing as you could face some serious charges I would get an attorney to have him try and get you some type of deal.

I dont think they take weed to seriously here, ive been pulled over and they found it in my car before, usually however it was just like $20-30 worth and they just took it, gave me some verbal bs and I was on my way. Its the E pills that im worried about, hoping they will just give me drug testing (id still like to be able to smoke pot for some reason) or some kind of drug program or hell i dont know what they hell there gonna do

Get off the internet, Call a drug rehab program, enroll in it. bring paper work to court stating that you volinterrerly started drug rehab. It goes a long way in the Judges eyes that you are attempting to fly straight, with out a court order. Or atleast claim your attending NA, or AA meetings. Sorry if im writting messy, Im on Rx Codine.

dont even bother with a PD. get yourself the king shit lawyer that knows everyone on a first name basis. shits money in the bank. (thats what i did, possession with intent to distribute in a school zone and conspiracy to violate the drug laws...
