couple weird things with voltage..

all my kinetik 2400s seem to be ok flating at 12.75 car off. my alternator car on pumps only 13.5 out all the time nothing more ever. sometimes real fast it will dip down to 2 volts, 6 volts 9 volts and jump right back up to 13.5

big 3 is all done except for alternator to chassis,but that shouldnt affect this.

had stock alt in and it was 13.5

just put in iraggi 300A alt and same exact reading basically. all the terminals are tight, so what could be the problem.

thanks in advance as i have done a shitload of trouble shooting

 
mmm. isnt the regulator internal on alts though. i pondered this previously but it did the same thing with stock alt compared to the new one.

and the belt is real tight

I'm not sure but I know your car controls it at least in some manner, thats why there's that plug that goes to it I think, and that would also make sense that it would do it for both alts. That's pretty much the only thing other than a loose wire or a bad battery or something that would affect both alts like that that I can think of, and the chances of both the stock one and a new one being bad internally are pretty low but who knows

during the day, moderate temps my voltage is at 13.2, but in the morning when its like 50 degrees its up at 13.9-14.0 where i would like it.

My voltage behaves the same way but not as badly

if its cold out I'll sit at 14.4-5 which is awesome

but if its hot or the car has been running for a while I'm lucky to stay above 13.8

either way you should never be below like 13.5 without significant current draw
