Bridged channels no louder then unbridged?

So I bridged my 4 channel amp that puts out 111 watts a channel, so now its 2 at 278 watts a channel, however, its no louder then it was before. I left the gain where it was to, but I thought it should be louder without having to turn it up. Anyone have any comments to this?

Im powering a set of Germanium Speakers. Before they were recieving ~80 watts of power. Now Ive bridged the channels but left the gain in the same position as before, but they are no louder. They are 4ohm.

I have 2 sets of rcas going into the amp. One set for the front, and another for the rear. I have noticed that it is louder at lower volumes, and A bit louder a full volume, But I was expecting it to be alot louder
