couple questions...

Ok today i recieved my nine.1, i hooked it up and noticed i had the same problem as i did last amp. It seems i have to turn the gains up really high to get my sub to really start flexin. I think i have it like 3/4 of the way up, bass boost at 0.....and at volume 30/32 on my HU it still keeps getting louder.....it's hard to explain, i just don't understand why both of my friends have nine.1's, and they have their gains set at like 1/4 of the way up and it's fine. I haven't set it with a DMM yet, but on my old hifonics i had to set it almost all the way up to reach desired voltage.

And another thing, i have big 3 done, complete wiring in 1/0, a new alternator, and i still get voltage drops like a mother, some times that thing goes all the way down to redline.

And another thing i noticed and it can't be good..there is a slight hissing sound i hear from my battery, could this be a leak? and could this contribbute to my other problems? i'm totally clueless, any help would be appreciated if yall know what I am talkin about at all, i can clarify if need be... thanx

Oh and another thing.....my HU's preout voltage is only 2v, could that be part of it?

That is a big part of it. and i think id replace that battery

Yeah, if it is ****ed up i may just pick up a yellow top and throw it up there.

I still wish i knew why i have this gain problem..
