probably rethought the idea when he wanted to upgrade his laptop all he needed to do was find the ram in the laptop(which he would have to do anyway to change it) and read the chips to see what type it was, but instead he asked here

Eh, I still disagree. I don't really think that's a lesson in and of itself, and even if it were, it's not a lesson worth learning. It's like if a virgin decided to boink some hooker with an STD, because let's face it she will have an STD, if not multiple ones, just to get it out of the way. It won't help him get laid by a woman that doesn't enjoy bukkake in the future, and it will just hurt any chances he had at progressing as a person. Better to let sleeping dogs lie.

He seems to open posts like this and then just never reply back.. My guess is it was as someone else said a 'sounds good at the moment' idea he realized is not such a great idea.
