couple questions about burning movies

is it possible to burn mpg or avi movies to a cd so that it will play in a regular dvd player? if so, how?

i usually just do it with Nero. Takes a few hours.

Oh... it would have to be a VCD. I've done it before...

I'd recommend using Nero Ultra, with Nero Vision Express...

james, what dvd burner you recomend for qualty and speed? and one of these days im gonna have to have you give me some info about converting to a better quality video if possible. not sure if you can make crappy res into better resolution or not tho.
