1) do you get more wattage output by useing a higher level input or is the amp restricted to its ratings?

2)is there amp that that is .5 ohms stable at atleast 2000 watts?

3)can a sub draw voltage from an amp?

1) No, using more preout voltage will not get you anything other than a lower noise floor.

3) No. The amp simply supplies the voltage...the sub does not "draw" anything.

thank you now what exactly do you mean by the lower noise floor? (how does higher input voltage give you this?)
