Could i run a kicker zx750.1 @1ohm?

My amp birthsheet was like 938 rms @2ohms. Is there any way to run this amp @1ohm and up the power? I dont have alot of knowledge on this subject so im looking for someone who does. Is it possible? Why or why not.

i had the same ? recently and talked directly to the rep at kicker, he said it was not 1 ohm stable... others said i might be able to do it for a VERY short time, but it would go into protect quickly, this is beacause it gets too hot, technically i don't know why but i trust they're reps... the zx line is still available in ebay and some on other online stores, they are 1 ohm stable

my friend has one and it gets very hot just running it at 2 ohms, i dont think it could handle being run at 1 ohm.

What about anyway to modify the amp so it wont overheat. Then would it be able to run for longer time periods?
