Could I fit three 15" L7s in this box?

OK I measured my car again to make sure I was correct the first time and yes I do have 48"W to work with. I was wondering with that amount of space could I be able to fit three 15" L7s? I been thinking about it and I don't think I could. I know three 15"s equals to 45"W but I doubt I could do it due to the 3/4 wood.

I dont think you would have enough wood left over to mount the subs on but I could be wrong. Thats cutting it really close. Find out the actual mounting length and add that up, plus a lil space between each sub.

Mounting width is ~14" x 3 = 42"

But the actual sub is 15" W. The cutout hole 14 1/16".

No it won't.

There will be no **** space for you to mount the screws... for them to grip.

Yes, it will still fit. The wood is not going to hurt anything since the mounting lips are nearly 3/4" wide. They can overlap the wood. If you're worried about screwing into the wood and having it split, pre-drill it first. You'll have 15" width in all chambers, so I doubt the screws will even penetrate the chamber walls/sides.

maybe make the box a little deeper and run the subs staggered? you could rotate them 45 degrees and put them a little closer, kind of like a triangle .

I think that no matter what way I turn them they are still going to be 15"W.
