Cost to install a 5900SST

well what year 4 runner is it? then we could look and tell you if you need a bypass or not. $550 sound right if you are buying the unit from the shop, they might have misunderstood you.

I got mine installed yesterday, ~$530 after tax with glass break sensor and bypass module. I bought the alarm there (Sound Advice) obviously and that is WITHOUT remote start which they said would be an extra $150 installed that I could add later if I wanted to.

The only reason for having a remote start in florida is to make yourself look cool //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/cool.gif.3bcaf8f141236c00f8044d07150e34f7.gif

i also have a 2000 toyota 4runner and the 5900sst. It needs the bypass which adds about 100 dollars, according to the 3 places i have talked to. I have been quoted 500 550 and 700 dollars and I already have the alarm!!!!!! that price does include glass break, back up battery, in dash brain, and extra sirens but god ****! How much would most of you pay for the options I just listed if u ALREADY had the alarm?
